Sincy was mad at Winters over her tackle on Vero!
Thorns supporters were understandably upset over the players not showing up yesterday.  Yes, at the end of the day, it was the players who were playing on the pitch and they needed to get results.  That being said, this was their 3rd match in a week and they are a depleted and tired team. I would  blame the coach more than the players.
The predictable post game analysis from PR, “they looked fresh in practice!”.  This is a coach that had dismantled a championship team!  Kept on changing formation because his preferred players were not available till mid season.  Just how many humiliating losses does it take to make him realize it is the defense that wins games.  A star studded offense is not clicking and he still puts out a 3 forward formation which had never worked before.  RVH is also injured now and let’s hope he does not add another forward instead of a defender!
LH of Seattle had a defense first strategy and she had her roster set right at the beginning of the season.  It also helps she had assembled three of the top midfielders in the world and had a player named Naho.
At the end of the day, LH is ten times better than PR. Seattle played as a cohesive unit whereas the Thorns had never gelled as a team under PR.  I mean, they could even connect passes yesterday!
Yes, Thorns had blow out games but they were more the consequence of top talents and not bc of Riley.  Not giving up hope yet, but if the Thorns lose any more points in the next game, they can kiss this season goodbye!

Hindsight is 20 20 but in the back of my mind, I just feel the Thorns will be outclassed by the Reign.  I was thinking before the game if they were lucky, it will be a draw if not they may lose 3-0 and it’s 5-0.

PR really needs to be replaced next season!  When the whole world knows Thorns defense is suspect, all he did was push his team to go on the offense. His advocated all attack tactics had worn down his defenders and now they are dropping like flies.  It is beyond frustrating to see so many world class talent wasted by one incompetent, clueless coach.

The return of Tobin may be too little too late and they just may not make the playoffs!

PR’s adjustment is again attack! Attack! And it backfired! Talking about a one dimensional coach! Not even sure if the Thorns can make the playoffs with PR at helm!
